You can get rid of all the extra mesh Change the bones to upper left and right arms(they are set to lower left and upper left for some reason)
Once you have the main character made, set up another one for the arms and uncheck include all. Only have the arms checked.Next set up the FPS Mesh of player in Opsive. Leave the third person objects empty. And build the character.
Now add the UCCFPSMaterialController script to the character.Set up everything like you normally would any character(Just add Demo controller instead of first person controller).
Under the UCCFPS Materials add 1 to the ignore renders on, add the arms from the first person objects in the hierarchy and click update render info.For some reason the arms go backwards in third person so move upper arm IK to 0.All you have to do is adjust the springs for first person and adjust the weapons from the tutorials and you are done!
