Character Falling Up to Head

Every time I create a character, they fall up to there head as seen in the photo. The problem can be solved by changing the layer of the legs of the character to "Character" rather than "Sub-Character". I fear this may be causing some other issues however. Do you know how to best go about solving this problem? Many thanks!

Are you using the capsule collider positioner? It's a component on the capsule collider child object.
