Really like this addon but I need to disable the icon appearance so I can see the sprite underneath it.
Disabled it under preferences, and it still shows.

You're referring to the scene icon? This setting is also controlled within Unity's gizmo dropdown within the scene window. I will remove that preference since it is now controlled by Unity.
