After updating, the character doesn't play the fall animation

Hello,

After updating from 2.3.4 to 2.4.4, my character now ignores the fall animation while the sword animation is playing mid-air.
Essentially, my character's legs stay still as if they're playing the full sword swing animation on the ground. Instead of having both sword and fall animations together.
Is this (or was this) a bug? Or am I missing something?
I have only the root rotation used for the Use Slot 0 ability.

I have a few questions:

- When you updated did you first remove the Opsive folder?
- Are you using the default animator controller?
- Can you reproduce it within the demo scene?
 
In the demo scene that is the result of the In Air Melee Use ability. There shouldn't be any sliding though so I'll check to ensure root motion is enabled when that ability is active.
 
I'm not sure without being able to reproduce it. Can you modify the demo scene to get the same behavior?
 
I could not successfully recreate it in the demo scene. But I do have screenshots of the item ability and script, if they are of any help:

If this problem cannot be solved, I would not mind using the animations / combo from the demo scene depicted in the video.
