UIS Support on UCC 2.4.8

Will UIS continue support for UCC 2.4.8?

I am reluctant to upgrade to UCC 3.0 because it is relatively new and I prefer to use version N-1 for better stability.

I would like to continue to take UIS upgrades because these are minor bug fix/feature enhancements that I benefit from with little risk.

Will UIS continue to support UCC 2.4.8 users with future upgrades? If so, how long will this support continue?
 
Support for version 2.x will continue for probably another month or two until all of the integrations and add-ons have been updated for version 3.
