Items Detaching Off Character

From the training videos on your website regarding item type setup (link below), per creation of the Assault Rifle and hitting the play button the item starts floating up and off into space. I noticed this same error happening when picking up the shotgun in the demo scene as well. Can you help me troubleshoot this error?

Here is the same error from the demo scene. As soon as I pick up the shotgun weapon it instantly starts floating. Any suggestions? I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling the asset into a new project. It gives me a look sensitivity error saying the weapon is not in the same direction. However, this seems to be something completely else given the weapon doesn't stay attached to the character.

I am running the UCC on Unity 2019.1.0f2

Apologies in advance if this is a noob error. I literally just downloaded this asset and have been following the training documentation to the letter.
