Been trying to get foot prints to spawn.
I think its not working cause for some reason when scene loads Decal manager is disabled.
Any thoughts why it would be disabling like that?
Its instantiated into the scene as a prefab.
The decal should be disabled unless a decal is being weathered. For footprints you can adjust the settings on the CharacferFootEffects component. It uses the surface manager to spawn the decal.
