Enable Aim Assist

I'm trying to create a GUI that the player can use to enable and disable the Aim Assist. I'm using Playmaker to change the value of the Aim Assist but nothing appears to change the Aim Assist value. Is there something blocking it from changing?
 
So I solved my issue. Instead of manually changing the Aim Assist value I just need to add the EnableAimAssist state to the preset and change states to enable the Aim Assist.
