Question about updating

I have a project I've put a lot of time into, and I'm considering updating UFPS. I'm using a version from about 8 months ago. I'm worried everything I've done will be corrupted, or not function properly. What do you guys suggest?
 
Make an update so you are able to roll back, and won't loose your work. The update will only affect Opsive code, so as long as you have not modified any of that code, you should be fine.
