Position Offset error

I recently changed from using First Person base ID to reference the FPS arms as opposed to my previous method of creating an fps base for every weapon. Unfortunately, after this change when I edit the position spring in any way movement errors seem to occur with my player playing random falling animations (happens especially with the body weapon) Is there any fix for this problem?

 
How are you changing the spring values? If you're doing it through code, you should probably do it through a state preset instead.
