Failed to create agent because there is no valid NavMesh

I have the following assets installed as specified by the integration page:
Behavior Designer
Behavior Designer - Movement Pack
Ultimate Character Controller
Behavior Designer/Ultimate Character Controller integration
AI Deathmatch
I also have the A* Pathfinding asset installed and the Ultimate Character Controller/A* Pathfinding integration installed.
Using this tutorial video
, I set up the character and enemy agent. When I click run I get the subject warning. I also get the following error: "Resume" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.

I can get the A* Pathfinding to work with the UCC Atlas character as the target using the AI agent described in the A* Pathfinding tutorial. I'm using the Layered Grid Graph as the pathfinding mesh. If I click the Pause button to continue after the error, the A* AI agent works find. The Deathmatch agent is moving into the sky with a jumb down animation active.
