Entity Component System

I've been looking through the documentation for the Unity Data-Oriented Technology Stack that is available in 2019.1+. It looks really useful for large populations. I would like to use it with UCC and Behavior Designer, but it looks like there are a lot of work to re-write. What are your thoughts on this new technology? Any easy way to leverage this change without another re-write? Thanks!
 
ECS does look really neat and I've been following along with it, but it's going to take a lot of work to get all of our assets working with it. ECS doesn't work with every component yet so it's not ready to start developing with, but in the years to come we'll keep watching it.
