2D animations using Behavior Designer?

Hi Justin!
How would you propose to control 2D animations for a character using Behavior Editor? I tried to search on the forums but there is too many results coming out from animation and searching 2D gives me the search string is too short (sorry I cannot find related info on 2D issues..)

Appreciate your advice!

Behavior Designer doesn't care if you are in 2D or 3D so you can follow a guide similar to this:

This page recommends not controlling the animations within the behavior tree because that would get too verbose and you'll end up with better results using a character controller that manages the animations.
