    I figured it out. The tutorial on your website told me to select the "Demo" character controller. I didn't see that one listed so I chose "First Person Demo". I didn't realize there was another at the bottom of the list called "UFPS Demo." Now it works great! Thank you,

    The character turns with the camera orientation and movement controls however it has no animation.

    When following the setup tutorial, the Nolan character falls halfway between the plane after running the program. It looks like he is separating from his capsule collider as I have shown in the image below. Otherwise, the character controls work as desired.
