NPC not picking up item

I have set up and AI navemesh agent with the same item collection as my character but it doesn't pick up the item. The ammo pick up is set up correctly as my main character can pick it up and it registers in the current inventory in the Inventory Script

If i drop Nolan into he scene he can also pick up the item

Things i have tried:

Copied Nolan's set up
Removed and added the item collection under the Item Set Manager script
Selected all the scripts within the inspector field
Updated NPC in Character Manager
Re-created the NPC
Created new pick up
