It's important that I have lighting and shadows effect my first person character meshes - this can be achieved by not using the first person camera. However, this allows the arms and weapon to pass through geometry in the environment. I would like a feature whereby the weapon is raised if the character moves too close to a collider, and use of the weapon (and aiming/zoom) is prevented until the player moves away, as seen in modern fps games e.g Far Cry 5.
