Animation of Item

Is it possible with UCC that an equipable item to have an animation, when it will equip, first that animation play and when it ends then the player is holding that item in his hand.
If yes, please explain some key points.
 
Yes, each item can have its own animation. In the demo scene all of the shootable weapons have their own animation. They have their own animator controller that you can edit.

After equipping, I can apply animations. That I know. My question was that I have an item in my inventory system already and when I equip that Item, an animation on the item will play and after that item comes to the player's hand. Is that possible? If yes, please explain.

Take a look at the assault rifle for an example - with that there is a special equip animation grabbing the item from the holster. This is done with the item id.
